What is life about? Between purpose and being human.

What is life really about?
This question has been with me for a long time. Some say it’s about living your purpose. Others believe it’s simply about being – experiencing life with all that comes with it.
I believe it’s both.
It’s a balance between devotion and enjoyment. Between depth and lightness. Between purpose – and the human experience.
I feel this contrast – and connection – most deeply when I dance.

I love salsa. When I dance, I feel life. Intensely. Fully. Real. There’s no thinking – I just am. For me, that’s pure human experience.
And yet, often there’s a deeper intention: I want my dance partner to feel good.
To relax, to feel safe, to enjoy the moment. I give my energy not only to have fun myself, but to offer something to someone else.
And maybe, in that moment, my dancing becomes more than just a part of my human experience. It becomes an expression of my purpose.
To me, life is both: Coming home to myself – and connecting with others. Living my gifts – and enjoying the ride. Growing – and simply dancing.
What about you? What does life mean to you?
