Many ancient healing traditions describe the human being not only as a physical body but as a system of subtle energy. At the heart of this system are the chakras – energy centers that align along the spine.
There are various teachings about how many chakras exist – some refer to three, others to five, seven, or even hundreds. In my work, I follow the widely known system of the seven main chakras, which originates in Tantric Hinduism and is used in many modern approaches to energy work.
What is a Chakra?
The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means “wheel” or “circle.” Chakras are seen as spinning energy centers that influence our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Each chakra is connected to specific life themes, organs, and qualities. When the chakras are balanced, we feel centered, energized, and in flow. When energy is blocked, we may experience fatigue, confusion, or disconnection.

Chakras & Reiki – Bringing Energy into Flow
In my Reiki sessions, universal life energy flows to where it’s needed most. The chakras often reveal where imbalances lie, and Reiki can help harmonize and gently open them. The goal: to restore flow – so you feel at home in your body and aligned with your inner truth.
