"The life of a yogi is not measured by the number of his days but by the number of his breaths."– B.K.S. Iyengar
Breathing is the most fundamental act we perform—around 25,000 times a day and approximately 670 million times in an average lifetime. And yet, 90% of people today breathe incorrectly—often too shallow, too fast, or through the mouth—without even realizing it.

In his book Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art, journalist James Nestor explores how modern habits have disrupted our natural breathing and what we can do to restore it. He shows that proper breathing isn't just about oxygen—it's a key to better sleep, emotional balance, and long-term health.
🌀 What Happens When We Breathe Wrong?
Chronic mouth breathing, poor posture, and rapid chest breathing can lead to:
Sleep disorders like snoring and apnea
Increased anxiety and stress
High blood pressure and poor oxygenation
Fatigue and reduced focus
🌿 Workshop: Healthy Breathing – Life Is Breath, and Breath Is Life
Inspired by Nestor’s findings and my own experience with breath, I’ve created a 2-hour workshop that explores the full potential of your breath. In this workshop, we cover:
The importance of breathing for health and well-being
How dysfunctional and functional breathing patterns affect the body and mind
The effects of optimal breathing on sleep, energy, and nervous system balance
An introduction to various breathing techniques, including guided practice
Simple, practical exercises to integrate into everyday life
🌟 Breath Is Life
When we learn to breathe properly, we unlock one of the body’s most powerful tools for healing. Breathing isn’t just automatic—it’s intentional, transformative, and vital.
Are you ready to rediscover your breath?
